RK&O and the Brennan Center file an amicus brief on behalf of sixty-two former prosecutors in the New York Court of Appeals case of Hurrell-Harring v. State

Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP served as co-counsel with the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law and filed an amicus brief before the New York Court of Appeals in the case of Hurrell-Harring v. New York. A copy of the brief may be accessed by clicking here. The brief, filed on behalf of former prosecutors, including two former elected District Attorneys and a number of former United States Attorneys, calls for an increase in funding and training for lawyers providing legal services for indigent criminal defendants throughout New York State.
