Richards Kibbe & Orbe partner Eva Marie Carney was quoted in the November 9, 2009 edition of Hedge Funds Review.  The article, "Administrators respond to regulatory change," describes the potential impact of several legislative proposals before Congress that would force hedge fund managers to register with the SEC, as well as impose new record-keeping and disclosure requirements on the industry. Ms. Carney discusses the actions likely to be demanded of hedge fund managers in response to the anticipated legislation and the Securities and Exchange Commission's increasingly aggressive stance on examinations and enforcement.
