Lee Richards, one of Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP's founding partners, was recently appointed receiver by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in the SEC vs. James M. Nicholson and Westgate Capital Management, LLC, et al. case.
Mr. Richards is receiver for the assets of James Nicholson, Westgate Capital Management LLC and related funds, including:

In addition to this case and the Madoff case, Mr. Richards served as SEC Special Compliance Counsel, Receiver and Trustee in the liquidation of four other securities firms and three major insider trading cases. He was also appointed as the Independent Examiner in United States v. Computer Associates International, Inc.
