On October 15, 2009, Richards Kibbe & Orbe partner James Q. Walker was one of two speaking on a panel at the Aon Large Law Firm Symposium in San Francisco titled "Law Firm Internal Investigations: Principles, Problems and Best Practices." The panel examined effective means of conducting internal investigations, analyzing the pitfalls and problems that characterize such investigations, and offered best practices to guide lawyers charged with carrying out these potentially difficult and challenging responsibilities.
