Previously with RK&O as a Trainee Solicitor

I’m proud to have started my legal career at RK&O as a trainee solicitor. The firm gave me the opportunity to work and specialize in distressed debt and claims trading, a niche area of law that is constantly evolving. It also provides a stimulating commercial environment that has allowed me to learn and develop my knowledge and skills. At RK&O you get to be an essential part of a smaller team, while the firm’s diverse client base of banks and hedge funds and its ethos of one firm across three offices presents the exciting feel of a large international law firm.

In addition to my practice, I am a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, which brings another meaningful dimension to my work. The Diversity Committee is an integral component of RK&O, as it recognizes and celebrates each person’s individual attributes. The committee fosters respect and increases innovation and creativity in the workplace. My involvement has helped me enhance my service to clients by giving me a better a understanding of their perspectives.

I am an associate in the firm’s London office and practice in the corporate and finance transactions department. I represent investment banks, broker dealers and other financial institutions, including hedge funds on the trading of domestic and international syndicated bank loans, debt instruments and distressed assets, in particular insolvency claims. I earned my diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, London, and my LLB with Honours in Law from the University of Westminster.
