After working as an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, I was looking to work on a wide range of deals with great lawyers in a smaller firm atmosphere. Richards Kibbe & Orbe was exactly the environment I wanted. RK&O is a unique firm where you are able to take on interesting work alongside exceptional lawyers who enjoy their practice in a collegial and friendly environment.
I am now counsel in the firm’s New York office and practice in the corporate department. I represent hedge funds, private equity funds, investment banks and other financial institutions in connection with U.S. and offshore investment and financing transactions, including private equity investments, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. I also advise clients on fund formation, general corporate and regulatory matters.
I earned my law degree, magna cum laude, in 2000 from the University of Michigan Law School and my undergraduate degree in 1996 from Penn State University.
