RK&O partner Christopher Andrew Jarvinen will moderate and speak on a panel at the Caribbean Insolvency Symposium hosted by the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI). The ABI is the nation’s largest association of bankruptcy professionals, made up of over 12,000 members in multi-disciplinary roles, including attorneys, turnaround specialists, investors, lenders, judges and others.
The presentation, “Professional Disclosures in Bankruptcy Cases: The Ethics Face-Off of the Century (Jay Alix v. McKinsey & Co., Inc.)” will take place on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10:45 a.m. at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa in the Cayman Islands. During this presentation, Mr. Jarvinen and another panelist will argue the key the positions being asserted in a high-stakes lawsuit currently pending in the United States District Court (S.D.N.Y.) focused on the duty of professionals seeking employment in bankruptcy cases to make complete and candid disclosures.
