RK&O partners Jennifer Grady, Margaret Meyers and James Walker were featured speakers on the "Diversity, Inclusion & Elimination of Bias: Addressing Bias and #MeToo to Achieve an Inclusive Workplace" webinar hosted by the LSTA. The speakers were joined by Professor Tanya K. Hernández of Fordham University School of Law.

This Diversity & Inclusion CLE explored important advantages that workplace diversity can provide an organization and its stakeholders, the challenges that must be met to reach these goals and steps each of us can take to achieve cross-cultural diversity in our own places of employment. The panel lead a discussion on the following topics:

  • Recognizing and counteracting unconscious bias in our daily interactions
  • Importance of avoiding cultural and language bias
  • Impact of #MeToo on Legal Practice
  • Best practices for education, awareness and achieving diversity
